It sounds simple but most leaders usually start tackling change by thinking about what needs to be done, rather than understanding where their people really are on the change curve. This combined with poor communication can lead to people quickly becoming disengaged at best and resistant to change at worst. The way we like to approach this is through a series of facilitated group discussions and one on one interviews with the leadership team. Our focus is on communication, values, contracting for success, a mutual learning model and change management models.
