People don’t resist change per say, they resist loss of status, pay, comfort and familiarity.

Change brings out both the best and worst in us. It sounds simple but most organisations usually start tackling change by thinking about what needs to be done, rather than understanding where their people really are on the change curve. This combined with poor communication can lead to people quickly becoming disengaged at best, and resistant to change at worst.

We can help HR teams to better prepare and manager periods of change or restructures. Our focus is on communication, values, contracting for success, a mutual learning model and change management models.

Changes like restructures or leadership changes usually happen fairly quickly. Transitioning teams into new more effective ways of working. That can take much longer.
