1. Create a communications template for your organisation. No matter the size of your organisation, consistency in communication is key for employee engagement. Map out how top down comms will be handled, the channels you’ll use and who ‘s responsible.

2. Communicate your communications expectations.  Over 70% of first time leaders have had no formal leadership training, so it’s important to provide a framework for regular one-to-one and team meeting expectations.

3. Implement feedback loops. How are you collecting and measuring feedback on internal communication? Can you use questions in your employee engagement surveys, 360 feedback to improve your approach?

Our communications skills workshop is like no other. In developing this program, our research took us to the medical profession where communication is often the difference between life or death outcomes.
