As a rule all of our engagements involve some element of change, and in our experience, change cannot be effective or successful if the culture of an organisation does not support it.

With this in mind we are curious to truly understand your culture, importantly it is the cornerstone of your business, yet it can be very difficult for people who work in the business to describe it, let alone start to change it.

1.   Importantly, if you are considering change initiatives, you will want to avoid unintended consequences. Start by thinking about the culture of your business first. This is often overlooked making it an expensive mistake, and you will likely cause more harm than good, lose peoples trust, and waste time and money in the process.

2.  Start by consulting with all of your people, and also consider the opinions of all your stakeholders. You will have your view of your organisations culture, as indeed will others, and they’ll likely differ. Ideally you want to be able to consider a range of beliefs, attitudes and intentions.

3. Trust is a fundamental value and extremely important when building better organisational culture. The fear of being vulnerable with team members prevents the building of trust within the team.

In particular, our approach uses a coaching philosophy, so you can expect that we will have lots of questions which vary from the detailed to high level

With this in mind it is crucial we jointly agree the design of what happens next

For the most part our approach is consultative, and whilst every intervention is different, we will introduce you to our recommended process

Unlike an actual coaching conversation, you should expect that the outcomes will not be too specific until we have had time to build trust
