The Challenge

Fonemedia experienced a rapid 50% increase in its employee base. This growth presented a dual challenge: integrating new hires into the company culture and ensuring existing and new team members bonded to work together seamlessly. The CEO sought to proactively address potential cultural misalignment and collaboration issues.

Our Solution: Building Better Leaders & Team Cohesion

Scaffold Coaching designed and delivered a bespoke "Building Better Leaders" programme for Fonemedia. The programme featured a series of highly interactive, half-day workshops run company-wide, focusing on key areas:

  • Vision & Values: Facilitating discussions to co-create a shared company vision, mission, and values.

  • Leadership Development: Equipping leaders with tools to manage and inspire.

  • Understanding Each Other: Utilising psychometric tools like the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to foster mutual understanding of personality types and working preferences.

These sessions provided a safe space for reflection and group work, allowing teams to address underlying conflicts and agree on new, more effective ways of working directly applicable to their roles. The programme has been delivered in two distinct runs (2018-2019 and 2022-2023).

The strategic approach to integrating new hires and strengthening existing teams delivered clear benefits:
